LTCI designs and executes high-quality, defensible field study programs to determine environmental impacts resulting from releases of oil and hazardous substances, effectiveness of pilot restoration projects, and effectiveness of full-scale restoration projects following field implementation (i.e., restoration monitoring).


DonJon Salvage. Tanker Barge Irving Whale Salvage-Gulf of Saint Lawrence.
Senior Marine Scientist that provided scientific support to a prime contractor under contract to Environment Canada to raise the sunken tanker barge Irving Whale during the Summer of 1996 in the Gulf of Saint Lawrence (Canada). The Irving Whale sank in the Gulf of Saint Lawrence in 1970 with oil and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) on board the barge. Provided technical input on the environmental fate and effects of PCBs during the planning, operational and remedial phases of the barge-raising project [1996].
Marine Spill Response Corporation. Bioremediation Field Studies-Various Domestic and International Locations. Project Manager that sponsored and participated in a number of field studies addressing the efficacy and environmental effects of coastal bioremediation applications. These field studies were conducted in Delaware, Texas, England and France [1991-1995].
Multiple Government Clients. Nationwide. Prime Contractor on Natural Resource Damage Assessment Field Investigations 0f Various Domestic and International Locations. LTCI conducts field injury assessments using all approved and defensible field, laboratory and chain of custody protocols to provide defensible data and evidence that determines and quantifies the nature, degree and spatial/temporal extent of injuries to natural and cultural resources. Field studies are conducted for pre assessment, injury assessment and proposed pilot restoration project purposes at many sites throughout and United States, Europe, Oceania and the Middle East. [1987-Present].
Multiple Government and Private Clients. Nationwide. Prime Contractor for Claims Assessment Group (www.claimsassessment.com). The Claims Assessment Group (CAG) is a nationwide consortium of consulting firms supporting public and private clientele in conducting damage assessments and economic valuations on commercial and non-commercial goods and services damaged by oil spills. These damage assessment culminate in the valuation of damaged goods and the corresponding generation of damage claims submitted to parties responsible for spills or the United States Coast Guard’s National Pollution Funds Center [2005-Present].
