Marine Spill Response Corporation. International Oil Spill R&D Facility Development-Corpus Christi, Texas. Project Manager that developed and managed the concept, design, and testing of a large-scale wave tank system known as the Coastal Oil Spill Simulation (COSS) system in coordination with the Texas General Land Office. The COSS system is designed to model the fate, ecological effects, and remediation of oil spills in coastal/near shore environments. This nine-tank system is a unique test facility capable of modeling a wide array of coastal environments. COSS is located in Corpus Christi, Texas [1991-1995]. |
